Rogier van der Heide: Why light needs darkness
This talk really got me thinking. Its not something you think about a lot because we tend to think light is a lot more important, that it gives life and all that. But we tend to forget that darkness is important as well. Its sort of like that theory of Binary opposition, when there's evil there's good, and all that.
He starts giving examples of different architectural answers of light and darkness. It gives you a different perspective when working with light.
